Health Care Reform Bill


The Senate passed the $871 billion health care reform bill on Christmas Eve with a 60-39 vote after months of heated debate. If it becomes a law, it will extend insurance coverage to 30 million additional Americans who are currently uninsured. Now comes the hard part: merging the House and Senate separate bills with their different approaches to providing coverage and paying for it.
