I think it's very scary to see this women try to accomplish this goal. I can't believe that as a mother she is considering doing this. She might not make it to her daughter's third birthday at the rate she is going. I have a lot of weight to lose and feel overwhelmed with the 100 pounds that I need to lose never mind having multiple hundred pound goals. She might need to talk to Ruby. Maybe she can convince her that this is not a good idea.
It's too easy to despise and execrate this woman. But why are ET and Inside Edition and Oprah and Dr. Phil fighting to get her on the air? Because too many Americans are fascinated with "car wreck entertainment." These shows know they can get numbers by featuring lost souls further humiliating themselves to palliate their fellow citizens' angst.
Grow up, America. Turn it off, turn away, and make something beautiful of your spare time.
