I disagree with you Art Hastings! ***Any*** suspect even innocent has the potential to be dangerous! What if a suspect is innocent but members of a radical group have sympathy for him and targets the U.S prison where he is held? I do not think this is racial profiling I think it is safety profiling. Other than that small disagreement this is a very thought provoking web page.
Ummm, "potential" to be dangerous is still not dangerous. "Suspect" does not mean guilty. And an innocent incitement for others to commit terrorist acts does not make oneself a terrorist. This blurring of essential legal distinctions is just the sort of crap that pissed me off about the Bush administration and its gamesmanship. I'm hoping Obama can raise the U.S. back above this sort of thing.
