While vacationing in Hawaii last week, Sarah Palin was spotted sporting a John McCain campaign visor – with McCain's name blacked out. Palin said she blacked out her former running mate's name to remain “incognito” while on vacation, however after the photos appeared on the
TMZ website and other media outlets, she cut her vacation short, stating on twitter “cut sunny vacation short (thanks, desperate paparazzi).” John McCain, appearing on
Fox News Sunday stated he completely understood that Palin altered the visor in order to avoid recognition, and that he and his wife Cindy remain friendly with Palin and her husband.
