Would an Independent President Mend the Partisan Divide?

President Obama has said many times that he is in favor of bipartisanship, but the line between Democrats and Republicans remains firmly drawn. Today we asked our panel if they believe it could be possible for a sitting president to truly create a bipartisan environment by stepping away from party affiliation and becoming an Independent.
