The Fallout Over Rahm Emanuel's Comment

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel issued an apology after it was revealed that in a closed-door meeting last summer, he referred Democrats who were not supporting health care reform as “f-ing retarded.” Former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, the mother of a special needs child, was quick to criticize Emanuel, and called for him to be fired for his comments.
